Room Review: Room is a 2015 independently made film which will have you on the each of your seat screaming at the T.V. This film is about two captives escaping from the room they are kept in and what life is like after spending years as a prisoner cut off from society. Brie Larson steals the entire film with her phenomenal performance as Ma never has a character made me feel the love and anguish of being a mother like this. I couldn't take my eyes off of her every scene she was in filled me with a sense urgency despite this Larson made her very likeable and very much relatable which is undeniably hard because of the characters harrowing life. Director Lenny Abrahamson uses his unique story telling for this dark thriller which will weirdly leave you feeling lighter by the end. Jack (Jacob Tremblay) is 5 years old he has grown up in an amazing world filled things such as lamp, sink and T.V and every day him and his Mum scream to see if the aliens outside will hear them.
